about

This was a score written for the 2012 planetarium show "Constellations of the Zodiac" which ran from August thru September at the Whitworth Ferguson Planetarium. The program traced through the history and usage of Zodiac constellations, their origins and significance. The planetarium had never really done a dedicated program on astrology and Terrence Farrell wrote an informative and lively script. Scoring this was a pleasure. At the time, I was knee deep in the challenges of the "2012: Prophecy of Doom" show which was to open at the end of September. That score required much darker music as well as Mayan inspired beats and instrumentation. The Zodiac show was quite different - lighter and more approachable. If anyone wishes to purchase this score on CD, follow the link to my site. It is listed as bonus tracks on the "2012" soundtrack.
